The GDCA now will require breeders to have had at least 1 (one) health test on stud dogs and brood bitches when they are bred in order to be listed on the Breeder Referral listing contained on the GDCA website, effective 2006 and after. This applies only to the animals owned by that breeder. Puppies that you acquire at a later date can be added as they become breeding age after they have had a required test. Litters in which the sire is deceased and the litter resulted from the use of his frozen semen would only require the minimum of one test on the dam of the litter. This measure passed and the above text relating to tests and verification will be included on the GDCA website Breeder Referral section.
If your animals have more than one clearance you may submit all and the website will reflect all tests that your animals have had done. For example if your dogs have OFA numbers for hips and elbows the website will list those two health tests as ones you do on your stud dogs and brood bitches.
Remember, this listing is for GDCA members only.
